Jamie Ward, MPA, SPHR

In 2018 I founded PeopleWave as a Human Resources consulting firm based in Seattle, WA. I did so because I had a goal to work exclusively with small and mid-size organizations that may not need a full-time HR professional or staff but still needed the presence of a HR professional that helps create an equitable and strategic working environment.

Prior to founding PeopleWave, I spent over 20+ years as a human resource professional working for several different companies in HR leadership, consulting, and sole practitioner functions.  In my roles, I was responsible for driving small business initiatives that focused on providing a stable employer/employee base within non-profit, technology, telecommunications, retail, and manufacturing organizations—supporting both HQ and multi-state operations. My goal is to build the types of cultures/environments where people thrive and do their best work.

I earned my Master of Public Administration degree from American University ‘s Graduate School of Public Affairs in 2000. Finally, I received my undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree from Mars Hill University in 1997 with a major  in Biology. 

I have passed the Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR) by HRCI and am currently certified.
